SWIM 100x100

22 February 2019. Completed the classic » SWIM 100x100 freestyle audax in Langen, Germany. It's not a race but a 10 km pool swim  workout with fixed 2:15 minutes interval for any 100 m (for an overall time limit of 3 hours and 45 minutes). Doing it in this event format with lots of other crazy guys is a perfect commitment to complete such a massive volume workout. It was actually the (by far) longest distance I ever swum in a single session, and not having these three scary letters (DNF) attached to my name on the participants list was really the only reason to carry on during the latter portion. Glad to have made it, but there's still a lot of work to do for faster swim splits. Some impressions are available » here, a full report by the SWIM magazine will be available shortly.
